Titus’ Medical Emergency Fund

We are collecting money for a little boy, named Titus, pictured:

Titus is a 2 year old boy from a very poor and remote village in Benue State, Nigeria. Titus has developed severe scars and a smell of decomposition from his belly (as shown in the picture). Local doctors have not been able to diagnose this poor child and Titus' parents do not have enough money to take him to a specialist doctor in a children's hospital, which is around 150km away from their village. His parents have informed us that his illness has just started, so he is still in time to be saved, however they don't have enough money to take this poor child to hospital and get the treatment he needs and deserves. Without this treatment Titus could die very soon. The catholic community in his village, led by Fr.Gerald Ayua are not able to fund his trip to the hospital, instead they are offering prayers.

This message was sent on the 5th of august by Fr Gerald Ayua:

"Please pray for and aid this child. 2 years and three months old. He was brought to me for prayers today. This child is alive and almost decaying. I almost couldn't hold my tears while I was praying. Lord, you said it is to little children as such that your kingdom is available, may the case of your son Titus not be different."

My colleague, Alumuku Liambee (who is a PhD student at the University of Surrey here with me) knows Fr.Gerald well and called him to get an update on Titus' condition. To date there has not been any improvement and the child is having sleepless nights as a result of the excruciating pain he is. The most grim information he has received is that, according to the Priest, the child smells as if he is dead already.

Please spare anything at all for this child, and if you are not in a financial position to send money, then please pray for him and share this campaign with your friends!
