Mama has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer in August 2018 and she has finished her chemotherapy sessions on May 3 of 2019. I have a job at the moment but my earnings are enough to fund for the hospital and medical fees.
My mom, Glenda Perez Diaz, is probably familiar for some of you. She worked for National Bookstore for almost three decades: Mama arranged books and school supplies, wrapped gifts, made sure there are stocks of items, creatively produced beautiful balloon bouquets and ribbons, et cetera.
Other than that, Mama has been a very caring mom. I have lived 21 fruitful years under her loving supervision. I learned how to read before I even started going to school because she would tag me along at work to let me read story books from the humble NBS shelves. I witnessed Mom's transferring to different NBS branches from Sucat to Bacoor to Rosario and Trece.
Mama, even though she have to rest before going to work, would make sure she prepared our breakfast and school uniforms. She even went to my school sometimes to bring me food. I am the most grateful daughter because of Mama's unconditional love for our small family.
I give all my respect towards Mama. She did not fail on molding me to what I am today. I may look like a careless, happy-go-lucky lady to some, but I assure you I am the responsible kid today because of Mama's life lessons.
She accepts me and never loved me less when I came out and never let go of me during my darkest episodes in life.
This might be a very long read but I am afraid these words aren't enough to define how amazing Mama is, and I cannot fathom why she has to suffer now. Everything was unexpected, but we won't give up. We are here beside her on her battle against cancer.
Henlo again, online world. I am Yen. We've probably been friends since either of us can remember and you probably perceive me as someone who just plays around, posts memes, and goes to random events. This post serves as a call for help from you, dear friends, for my Mama.
I have posted this, dear friends, to ask for your kindness and help. We will be needing money for her radiation therapy expenses. We will forever be thankful for all the help and prayers you can give. (Shares too!)
For donations, kindly send me a message via Messenger or 0908-230-3961. Thank you.
