Tir na Nog Dance Scholarships

For 20 years, Tir na Nog Dance Academy has tutored, enabled and inspired kids to become confident, well balanced and, to put it simply, happier in life.

Through modest costumes, lyric-free music, and of course, an extremely passionate instructor (Niamh Webster), parents can rest assured that their kids are receiving a wholesome dance experience where the only influences are good ones.

It is always a huge disappointment when a kid has to either give up lessons or be prevented from joining due to lack of funds, and so, to mark the school's 20th anniversary, we are launching the Tir na nOg Dance Scholarship Fund!

This fund will either pay or help offset the cost of tuition fees for any eager young dancer who is need. The Scholarship will be launched this year with two events:

1) Andy Webster, Niamh's husband, turns 40 on 28th September andiIn lieu of a gift, you can donate to the fund. Feel free to come and party with Andy and Niamh at his birthday ceilidh at the Canning Lions Hall on the 28th from 7-11pm!

2) Andy and Niamh will be running in the Valley Harvest Marathon in Wolfville, NS on the Sunday of Thanksgiving Weekend and you can sponsor them by donating! Andy will do a half marathon and Niamh the 10k. All in all, 31.1km between them!
