TipSnips.com Phase III & IV

Hello and thank you for viewing our project!

My partner Matt and I (Tabatha) will soon be launching a new social membership website geared towards helping people save time and money. We have funded Phase I and Phase II but need the necessary funding to take this site to the next level.

The site is TipSnips.com. Inspired by the genius of Pinterest, it is jammed pack with over a thousand unique tips (and growing) that people can easily share with friends, family, and customers. But the cool thing is members can upload and share their own tips and images and become a hero to these same friends, family, and customers. In short, Pinterest with a purpose!

Currently there are two current membership levels - Free and Pro. Free members are able to post tips, share their tips (or others) on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, etc... Free members can also add their own URL and their Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter URL to their profile page (See sample here) . Pro members enjoy all the same features as Free members but are also able to comment on others tips, rate other people's tips, save tips to their Favorites folder and include a tip Source link and a Recommended link. Why we need your help?

Simply put, with the help of beta users we keep getting more and more ideas to make the TipSnips website more and more useful for members and visitors alike. Tipsnips.com has already completed Phases I and II but Phase III will allow members to create their own 'boards' to easily categorize their favorite tips, make keywords clickable, email notifications when someone likes or shares their tip, ability to add video, and a major improvement to the Flickr module. In addition there are several admin backside improvements for members included and site tweaking for SEO purposes. We are also researching the possibility of adding an 'Ask TipSnips' board where members can post questions publically and receive answers from members.

Phase IV is where Tipsnips goes mobile. A mobile site will be created along with the Tipsnips mobile app which will allow users to search, post and share tips and pics quickly and effortlessly.
