...well, it's actually more of a Tip teapot :D
Young couple is moving to the UK soon and needs pocket money for tea, bus fare and an occasional full English breakfast! (also rain coats and wellies, we heard the weather is shit)
We reckon the first couple of months are gonna be the toughest. Adjusting to a new lifestyle, settling in, looking for proper jobs, fighting depression and homesickness, you know, the usual. So we decided to shamelessly ask for help via this fundraising campaign.
Here's how we came up with the amount we want to raise:
According to this highly relevant source, children aged 15 living in the UK get, on average, £8.38 per week in pocket money.
Since we're just a couple of 30 year old children ourselves, we doubled that amount and got 16.76/week/bigbaby, which is £33.52/week for the both of us, totalling up to £134.08/month.
£135 * 3 months = £405 + fees = £450
That should cover it, right?
Disclaimer: promise we won't sulk too much if we don't reach our goal, but it would be sooper nice if you could help us have a back up story to fill any awkward silences during our future job interviews:
"- So...you're from Romania..."
"- Yes......also, before coming to the UK we used a crowdfunding site to help raise some pocket money so we could afford sausage and beans and umbrellas." :)
