The Center for Children in Need is moving to a small village to start community based health care. Sabine will also work as a trainer for an indigenous health organisation. Five of her nine children are coming with her and they all need a basis to stay. Four are moving to a boarding school not far away and will visit on weekends. We lived tiny before and have very good experiences with it. Our house needs to be built fast and cheap with mostly local materials. Until it is finished we will live in a tent under a tarp, no fun in monsoon season. We will erect a bamboo frame and put a leaf roof on it, so that we can work under it.. The walls will be split bamboo, filled with rice husk and plastered with mud. The Tiny needs to be well mosquito-proofed as there is Malaria in the area. • I do not know Mrs. Roper personally but I have been watching the projects of Mrs. Roper for some time now and came to the conclusion that she is a honest and sincere lady doctor that won't waste donors money by any means. This fundraising is the real thing and should be supported!! I am really admiring how she is managing all of this. I wish her and her family the best luck with the new tiny house and the new job. Hope to read more positive news soon.

Update posted by Sabine Roper at 04:46 am

The solar panels are the first equipment we will need to be able to run our phones and laptop. Until we can build the house we will live in a tent, which will be pretty trying in the monsoon season. Hopefully someone will open his porch for us. The first. . . . .
