Tim’s Journey to Turtle Island

The Anishinabek in Grassy Narrows, Ontario are faced with severe deforestation and mercury poisoning of their ancestral lands, among other problems. I intend to join a delegation to this reserve with the intent of finding ways to improve the situation. I will report my findings to you.The delegation is organized by the international interfaith group Christian Peacemaker Teams, who practice non-violence to reduce conflict all over the world. By Donating to this group, you are supporting my application to the delegation as well as funding the trip.
