Help Thunder

Thunder grew up in a slum. For 4 years he lived a miserable life of horrible abuse and total neglect. He was finally rescued by a shelter where he stayed for many months before I saw him and fell instantly in love with this gorgeous boy.

Despite his years of neglect he is the most loveable, gently and affectionate soul I have ever met. Everyone who meets him falls under his spell. Unfortunately a big dog took an instant dislike to him and attacked him so viciously he has had to have two rounds of intensive and expensive surgery to try and save his badly injured back leg.

Due to a lack of funds I considered putting him down but my heart just wouldn't let me do it, plus the vet said he was young and strong enough to go through both surgeries and be absolutely fine.

All the staff at the vet have fallen under his spell as say he is just such a brave and accepting dog who never shows any signs of aggression when having dressings changed or wounds flushed. He has bravely gone through the first round and is now facing the next round of surgery and many weeks of slow, painful convalescence. The veterinary bills however, despite being very reasonable under the circumstances, are still a major hurdle for me to pay back.
