Through the Lens of Life

Hello.  I am asking for donations to help me fulfill my dream of going to Europe.  My wish is to travel to several European countries, taking pictures of the culture and its wonderful people.  I want to create a book that will uncover the "true beauty" of the world we live in and not harp on the "ugliness" being projected by various media outlets.  There are more positive and beautiful experiences to be told through the lens of life.

I decided to do this journey now as I recently went through some medical problems that awakened my spirit and made me realize that stress can harm and kill you, if you allow it to do so.  I feel that I need to change my career and go into something that I truly love . . . . . photography.  I should have followed my dreams years ago but thought the corporate world was where I needed to focus.  Now, my body, mind and spirit are paying for this choice.

I have saved money for this trip but due to recent surgeries, the money I saved has dwindled.  I had to use that money to help pay medical bills.  I have some money left but not merely enough to fund my trip.  I do hope that I get the funding needed to make my lifetime dream a reality.  I feel my spirit compels me to make a change for the better!

Once I complete my journey, I will select several photos to incorporate into a book.  I know the book will take over a year to complete but this is part of my dream as well.
