Three Peaks Challenge for Carers Trust

Over the weekend of the 6th-8th September, I will be taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge. The challenge involves climbing the tallest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales...all within 24 hours. The 3 peaks include 22 miles of walking, ascending for roughly 10,000 feet with nearly 500 miles of driving to get from peak to peak. The challenge is certainly no mean feat and tests mental and physical strength including starting the climb to the peak of Scafell Pike at 4am.

This UK registered charity provides priceless support and assistance to those caring for loved ones across the UK. The reason for choosing this charity is because I witnessed the care that my Grandma gave over a number of years to both my Great-Grandma and Grandpa. Her love and dedication in her caring was inspirational and anything that can be done to help those in similar situations is well worth climbing all that way for.
