Those In Need

I am raising money to make survival kits to hand out to needy/homeless in the Orlando and Brevard area. Each kit costs about $3.00 to make and includes one of each of the following: gallon hefty bag, bottle of water, 2oz hand sanitizer, packets of wipes, granola bar, .8oz pack of peanuts, pack of 4 cheese and peanut butter crackers, band aids, flosser, peppermints, pieces of gum, pair of socks, pretzel stick and cheese dip pack,and a comb. If I get enough funding I hope to also include sunscreen, chap stick, deodorant, small tooth brush, tooth paste, and another bottle of water. Many people, myself included, don't always feel comfortable giving money to those in need since we cannot be sure how it will be spent. My kits provide a way to help those in need without funding drug or alcohol use.
