please help me fund a refurbished laptop

Hi, my name is Renzi. You are probably wondering what is this link for. Yes I know, this may sound unreasonable but I am here knocking at the door of your heart if you may spare a little of your hard earned money to help me fund a laptop. Most likely, you have received this because you are one of my family member, a friend, colleague, an acquaintance or a friend of friend.

I previously had a yoga thinkpad 2014 since January 2016 as my first laptop which my family members co funded. But unfortunately, due to an untoward incident, a screw got loose inside and after flipping it to tablet mode, it shut down immediately and I smelled a burnt smell at the bottom of the chassis. I sent it to my brother for an an initial assessment and he confirmed that the board had a short circuit. I sent it to a laptop repair specialist but told me that the board is burned and can no longer be repaired or at least no longer ideal to repair by replacing the motherboard as it is almost the same cost in buying a new one. That laptop is really a blessing for me and others as i used it almost at least 8 hours a day in doing almost anything such as updating social media accounts especially facebook, proofreading documents, office work, community service, entertainment etc. But all things may come to an end and so with my laptop.

With that, I need a laptop replacement. And after a thorough consideration, I end up deciding to get this refurbished Thinkpad T480 laptop for its affordability, durability, model, upgradeability, and usability (especially thinkpads are also known to its good keyboard experience which i can utilize for typing). But seemingly I do not have the budget right now to pay for it. Yes, I know you are wondering how a professional like me (or at least until may 2018 before I resigned as a senior software engineer in a large global technology and consulting company) could not even have around 30000 pesos to buy his own laptop. But i cannot go into details to say that, or at least not here or at this moment. But this is only the best way I currently know of to get this funded. So again if you I can reach out to your heart and a few bucks may not hurt you, kindly help make this possible.

I promised that I will not put your efforts and money to waste as I will use this in my service to life and to all sentient beings in the highest capacity that I know of. You might be wondering what is in this for you? Maybe nothing directly, but we all know that all life is one, so as we help others we are also helping our self in the process and thus making this world a better place to live in for each other.
