They Dumped Me At A Construction Site

Hi I don't know what my name is but I was dumped at a construction site in Jersey City, NJ. There are a lot of people working here. Some were nice and fed me. One man picked me up and put me inside his jacket because it was raining out. He put me in his nice warm truck and brought me to Kearney to an office. There I met some more nice people. This man gave me some water. So I thanked him and piddled on his floor lol it was okay though he didn't hit me or yell at me. I was safe. A nice lady came there and she started to call me Bentley.

Bentley was found on Tuesday, May 30th wandering under the Pulaski Skyway. He is a 3 month old Beagle Springer mix. He was scared but so very sweet and friendly. Extremely emaciated and covered in flea's. He was so dehydrated and lethargic and we noticed his left eye was infected but also "cherry eyed". We rushed him over to our vet.

At only 13.3 lbs this little guy had so much love to give. His tail just kept wagging and the kisses he shared. Bentley did not bat an eye when they were sticking him with needles or flushing his ears out to get all the dirty muck and grim out. He was like he was relieved. He was ready to be loved and knew he was safe. Never again will he have to live out in the cold rain.

Scooby-Doo's Rescue has taken in Bentley. Our small home based rescue could really use some help with his funding. We are struggling to keep our heads above water just to save another life. Bentley so far has had the basic care and still needs more. We are just waiting the pending fecal culture to come back.

Please Please no matter what you can give...Please give anything to help Bentley. This little cutie deserves everything. He loves to be held and will give you a hug right back too.
