Therefore Go!

Hello!!  So, all of you might be wondering the reason behind all this. Well, along with a team from Lighthouse Christian Church, I am heading to the Philippines this Christmas 2015! Our church has set up a missions trip this year and it involves going to two places: First, an orphanage called Babyanne's Mansion Orphanage at Balliuag, Bulacan. We hope to not only interact with the children, but possibly set up a small Christmas event for them to enjoy as well. I am more than excited to work with the children and possibly the adminstration centre there.  The second part of our trip will be taking place at Nasugbo, Bulacan where we would work and encourage the planting of a new church. Some of you might wonder why I desire to participate in this outreach program. To tell you a little bit about myself, I have been working as a church leader for nine years now, and it started when I was 11 years old. I first worked as a Junior youth leader then eventually became a youth and praise and worship leader as I got older. My desire to enact change started for me as a young teenager and continued on until this day.  Most importantly, I have always enjoyed serving in any way I can, but I have always done so within my comfort zone. This is my chance to take that extra step, and serve in an area that is unfamiliar to me once again, hence the title of this fundraising campaign.  In order to make this trip possible, I will be needing all of your support!
