At 19 week pregnant laura was admitted to hospital after finding out she was 2 cm dilated. The following morning she had a rescue Circular put in around the cerviy in an attempt to stop the baby coming out. The surgery was a success but unfortunately the next morning a doctor misdiagnosed that her waters had went and after 9 long and emotional days she was pressured into having it removed due to the fear of becoming septic. It got even worse when it was found the stitch had been placed upside down so after 45 min of trying she was taken to theater and sedated. The horror continued when just two days later she had a visit from consultant who admitted the doctor had made an error and her water hadn't actually gone this was told on the Friday and on the Monday laura went back down for surgery to have another cerclage placed. During the procedure she was found to be 3 cm dilated with her membranes hanging out, luckily the consultant was able to push it back in and place the stitch.laura then spent the next 9 weeks completely on bed rest until 29 week she then gave birth to a 3 pond 3 ounce little boy. He spent the next 7 week in hospital until he was finally able to come home. However after a short 2 and hafe week at home Theodore stopped breathing in his mum's arms and was rushed to hospital where he was found to have a viral and bacterial infection affecting his breathing with contious dims in his heart rate he was put into an induced coma and transfered 4 hours away to a better hospital where he remains today. Still in a coma and still trying to fight this off, with all of this going on Theodore parent have been left with debt from lack of money due to his dad not being able to work and being so far away from home. They have to supply their own food and other essential as well as paying rent and other facilities back at home.this is why the fund has been set up to help the family through an incredible rough time, to help with the financial worries so they can concentrate solely on their son.  Thank u
