Theo’s sensory equipment.

Welcome to Theo's page,   We have set up this page to help raise some much needed funds to complete our little boy's sensory room. Theo was born at 23 weeks weighing only 1lb 7oz and spent nearly 6 months in hospital fighting for his life in the special care baby unit. On many ocassions we nearly lost Theo but he kept on fighting and finally made it home on oxygen.  Whilst Theo was in hospital he under took two surgery's on his bowel and his eyes. We also discovered at birth Theo suffered a brain hemorrhage which has left him with periventricular leukomalacia, which is cystis on parts of Theos brain. Theo was diagnosed at the age of one with spastic depligic cerebal palsy, this has caused theo to not beable to sit up, crawl, walk or even feed himself unaided. Everyday is a struggle for theo as he is unable to do day to day activities independently which includes playing with everyday toys that your average 1 year old can do. Theo is also extremely short sighted and has to use contact lenses to be able to see further than 20cm in front of him. Theo has mutiple speacialists involved with him on a weekly basis to help him improve and reach his full potential in life. Theo is the most loving little boy who dispite all his been through always has a smile on his face. He loves swimming and sensory toys/equipment. We are asking if anyone could help are little boy raise some funds to finish his sensory room and buy some more specialised equipment to help theo communicate and interact with us in his day to day life. We didnt want to fund raise but we have built half the sensory room ourselves and do not have the funds to complete it as the equipment is so expensive.
