Our organizations name is THEM (Touching Hearts Educational Mentors). We place youth mentors in schools in Pretoria, South Africa. We aim to touch schools one heart at a time, by giving emotional support and to motivate children in need. In today's crowded schools it becomes difficult for the teachers to help the children with their emotional needs, with the Youth Worker in the schools, they can assist teachers by talking to the kids, getting to the children's hearts and making a difference for them.
We place Youth workers in schools at no cost for the schools, and therefore rely on donations and sponsors.
By supporting us you ensure that we place youth mentors in over 40 schools we identified in Pretoria. Our dream is to make a difference in today's generation, they are our future and we need to start now!
