Hi :) I'm Jennifer & I'm a nurse from Melbourne, Australia.

Besides helping people, I'm also an advocate for animals with a serious case of wanderlust, & burning desire to make a global difference.

It’s taking sheer courage, but with your help I'll be stepping out of my comfort zone on a mission to pursue what I really love to do; travel, inspire happiness, & help revolutionize animal welfare through photography, film, & quotes.

Driven by the misery I've seen, I created The Welfare Project as a place to openly share my journey as I help push for a kinder world & inspire others to do the same :)

GOALS:

• Raise awareness & spark change for animal welfare & environmental protection.
  
  

IN 2016 I PLAN TO:

- Travel to the Philippines to surprise visit my family in Manila, explore the island of Boracay, & help raise awareness for an elephant in desperate need.

- Set out on a fun-filled spiritual adventure through Indonesia & volunteer at an animal rescue centre to help raise awareness for the street dogs of Bali.

- Go on a safari in South Africa to capture images of wildlife & help promote the conservation & protection of endangered species & their habitats.


HOW YOUR GENEROUS DONATIONS WILL BE SPENT:

The reason I have launched this crowd-funding project is because I need help to help others (on a global scale). In order to make this dream a reality I require funds for core expenses such as:
- Flights
- Accommodation
- Travel insurance
- African Safari tour
- Canon Digital SLR
- GoPro
- Tripod
- Video editing software
- Backpack

IF MY TARGET IS EXCEEDED FUNDS WILL GO TOWARDS:

- Flights & other travel-related expenses to explore & make a difference in different locations
- Volunteer programs & animal welfare organizations
- Publishing an inspiring book
