The Uphill Fight Against The 4th Stage

My mom, Evangeline Camino, has been battling breast cancer on her own for almost 2 years. We wanted to help her when her tumor was still small but she always declined because she doesn't want to be a burden to us, as she would always say. She finally came to us (her family) in early January this year (2019). She then confessed the reason she doesn't want us to interfere with her battle is that she is afraid of chemotherapy because she knows a few people who had died because of that treatment. "I don't want to die" she said. She resorted to herbal medicines in hopes that she will get better and be healed but she felt the tumor was getting bigger and already started to feel weak and that's when she decided to get help. We were able to convince her to see a doctor and get all the treatments the doctor will advise.

Mama was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. She was rushed to the hospital last January 10th because she had difficulty breathing due to pneumonia. She had already gone through 2 operations (removing the water from the lungs and sealing up space between the outer lining of the lung and chest wall to prevent any fluid or air from continually building up around the lungs which they called "pleurodesis"). She was admitted for almost a month. Health card limit has been maxed out then it took us a week to pay the remaining balance.

The money we have left is just enough for 2 to 3 cycles of chemotherapy. The doctor told us she needs at least 6 to 8 cycles of palliative chemotherapy which is estimated to cost Php 30,00.00 (575 US Dollars) per cycle.

Please help. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
