The truth will set me free

On January 30, 2012 (my son's birthday!) I was terminated from my job at the State of Illinois. I was told that it was due to an investigation from 2008, from the previous agency that I worked for.
I appealed the decision, and decided to represent myself. It was after reviewing the discovery, that I saw that the all the charges were bought against me, from my former boss. Not only that, but she lied to investigators, and even worse, internal affairs simply took her word for everything. Even, though I had ACTUAL proof that she lied, the Illinois Civil Service Commission sided with the State (of Illinois...of course!), and I was terminated. I appealed to the district courts, in order to receive an unbias decision. On March 20, 2014 the judge overruled the termination, even citing that it seemed like "my boss did not like me".
In November, my lawyer informed me that the State of Illinois filed an appeal with the Illinois Appellate Court. Their strategy is to break me mentally and financially. Its a classic David and Goliath case. I am about to start working my third job, but even with all that, I have no way to keep the required payments to my lawyer. I simply do not know what else I can do. Two full time jobs and a part time job, and my son is the one being sacrificed, while my former boss has been promoted. What's even more tragic is, the fact that because the Attorney General's Office is the one handling the case, and they are paid by the State, not only am I responsible for paying MY lawyer, but my tax dollars are also paying THEIR lawyers!!!!

My case has a tentative date for August 2015, to present Oral Arguments. No donation is too small and ANY help would be appreciated.

I have included one example to show the deception on my former boss part. She informed the investigator at Office of Executive Inspector General, that, while I worked as a Human Service Caseworker that I issued benefits to the brother of my son's father. My son's father is an only child...no brothers...no sisters! But she informed the investigator that she verified that J. Tisdale and D, Tisdale were brothers, and OEIG took her word for it and included it, in their report. However, J. Tisdale and D. Tisdale have two different set of parents. Also based on the age of D. Tisdale and the ages of J. Tisdale's parents, its would be impossible for these two individuals to be brothers. So, how, exactly was this relationship "verified"?
