The Thirteen Grandmothers project is an art and cultural healing project bringing together thirteen female residential school survivors for a transformational journey to healing through culture, ceremonies, regalia and drum making as a way of healing. The intention is to provide these grandmothers with a cultural experience as well as to capture their journeys through photography and having an exhibit displaying their transformation and stories to people everywhere.
