Namaste! Hello! I'm Mr. Biscuits - a street pup from India. I was found almost close to death and starving on a dusty road in Maharashtra, hitch hiked a ride with the Dumball (www.dumball.org) all the way to Goa, stole the heart of a Gori Jess Holliday who's decided to make me one of the lucky ones, and rescue me back to the UK!
The export to U.K. process is complicated and expensive, and can take up to 6 months before I'm ready to board that flight in July. Luckily, my Gori is taking care of everything, but what I need now is your help and kindness to generate the funds to help her, to #fillthebiscuitjar, so we can afford to make the journey to my new life, where I will be safe, sound and much loved.
You can donate as little or as much as you can afford and I'll lick your face off no matter what, or you can donate the money to pay for specific costs for the export process, all listed below. There's a few personal costs in there too, like food, travel and any kennelling I might need, that'll really help Jess out during the next 6 months.
I'll keep you all updated with my progress as I go through this whole experience, whilst I grow strong and healthy in mind and body.

Cargo Assist LHR: 12,000 INR, 160 GBP
Dog food: 8,500 INR, 115 GBP

Contingency +5%: 195,000 INR, 2,600 GBP
If we beat the target, any additional money will be donated to the Animal Rescue Centre here in Goa.

RABIES TEST: PASS! next steps....
Update posted by Jess Holliday at 04:55 amBiscuit update: Delighted, and relieved, to say we received the essential PASS certification (on the Rabies Titer Test) from the UK test centre in May, which meant Biscuit was officially allowed to enter Europe!! This system/piece of paper bypasses the old quarantine process, so in effect he could walk off. . . . .
