The Spirit of Giving – A Volunteer Medical Project in Peru

Hello all!

My name is Savannah Robinson and I'm a pre-medical college student pursuing two degrees: Religious Studies & Spanish.

My ultimate endeavor is to become a physician, where I can be enabled to provide equitable access for many individuals in America and beyond borders.

I wanted to spend my Christmas season a little bit different this year. From December 15 - Jan 3, 2020 (3 weeks), I have decided to be a part of an impactful medical project for underserved communities in Peru. This is significant because many countries struggle to receive adequate healthcare. As a volunteer, I will be promoting health education, take vitals, and connect with Peruvians so that they can become healthier individuals.

As a low-income individual, I have tirelessly worked three jobs to be able to afford most of the trip. However, there is still a financial burden under my sleeve to purchase a flight during the Christmas season. Most flights cost over $1,000 but I don't want this to stop me for helping those in need.

Please show your Christmas spirit by helping me to help Peruvians :) The spirit of giving should be spreaded for the entire humanity. Everyone has a right to be healthy!
