  hello i am a single mother i wish to attend school how ever i have ran in to minor set backs one being that i owe one loan and one end balance to monroe college. i aspire to be a chef  i would like to be able to put my child through school any thing u can donate will be grately appricated.

  I also would love to expand this fundraiser for other single parents. College is a pricey endeavor no matter who you are. It can rack up thousands and thousands of dollars and cost as much as buying one’s first home. Paying for college is that much more difficult for single mothers.

Having the time to balance school and a child is one thing, but paying for childcare on top of tuition, living expenses, and book is quite another. Single mothers have expenses that are unique to them.

 This is why it is harder for such women to return to school. Thankfully, there are many funding options available to make this transition that much easier.

  Historically, women have had to deal with big gaps when it came to how they were treated in comparison to men, this is why i would like to expand this fundraiser into an organization.  The motto for this fundraiser is "ONE HAND WASHES THE OTHER AND BOTH HANDS WASH THE FACE" i chose this motto because if we all pull together we can help single families accomplis more than we could ever imagine sometimes all people are is a helping hand.
