The Saving House

The condition of stray dogs and cats in Turkey are horrible as the government shelters are overcrowded and underfunded. Most of the animals either get sick in these shelters or are taken to deserted areas away from the city where they have no way of finding food or shelter. The Rescue Home is a rescue organization and sanctuary that was founded to provide treatment and shelter to dogs and cats in need from all over Turkey. All of the volunteers who work in this organization are extremely dedicated people who help out in feeding hundreds of strays in the forests and streets. They also treat the dogs and cats who are injured or ill and sterilize those who are not neutered/spayed yet. This house provides the dogs who cannot survive on the streets a safe shelter where they can run around in the yard during the day and play with other dogs and cozy up inside when the weather gets cold. The cats have a separate room and access to their own private yard so they can go in and out as they please. All of the donations will be used in either buying food for the animals at the Rescue Home or for covering their treatment and sterilization costs. The Rescue Home is fully dependent on donations and will be able to care for more dogs and cats with more donations.
