The Samantha Speer Cancer Fund

My wife, Samantha Speer, was diagnosed with Inoperble Stage 4a Cervical Cancer this last November. Since then she has had Radiation treatments (both external and internal), Chemotherapy treatments, and so many Oncologist appointment and scans that we have lost count. Last month I found out I have two ruptured disks in my lower back and must have surgery. I am scheduled for surgery the beginning May and will be down for 5-6 weeks to recover. As if life hadn't hit us hard enough, we came home from treatment last week to find a "60 day No Cause Eviction Notice" on our door, giving us until June 14th to move out. The only good thing in all this is that my wife's family has a place for us in Virginia. We just have to come up with the means to move the 3800 miles across the country to them.
