Although it is stated that “all people are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights”, many are not able to practice those rights so freely. Even in the United States which is a nation that has championed those human rights and freedoms, people face tremendous challenges to safeguard them.
The Right to Believe was created as a response to dangerous precedents that impede on one’s rights in order to ensure that they are protected and upheld. To support The Right to Believe, I’m starting a fund that will be used to emphasize the importance of the freedoms protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution at home and abroad, especially religious freedom.
Such efforts include empowering marginalized religious communities, addressing the threats that violate their fundamental rights and efforts to safeguard them.
