My name is Vince Asbjornsen, and I am in the process of raising funds for my first independent feature. The script is complete, but I need to raise funds to be able to produce the picture.
It is a horror-thriller, but not a slasher. The story is an "edge of your seat" plot that resolves with two twists for the ending.
Harvey Rochman (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1586866/) is involved as executive producer and we are looking for a named talent to star in the leading role.
Mr. Rochman has connections with the actor Ed Asner and produced the movies "Lost Junction" and "Misconceptions."

Synopsis:
Kevin Hammersmith, a good looking and cocky fraternity boy, awakens in a dank chamber shackled to a special chair. The chair is bolted to a conveyor system that leads to a deep pit.
A voice, belonging to a mysterious bald man in a control room, emanates from a speaker and informs Kevin that he is to play a game in the form of answering a riddle.
He will have five attempts.
If the riddle is guessed correctly, the shackles will release, allowing Kevin to exit with the added bonus of ten million dollars.
However, for each attempt answered incorrectly, Kevin will receive a "punishment" and the chair will be moved toward the pit that contains five black mambas.
After five wrong attempts, the chair will abruptly dump Kevin into the reptile infested grave.
In the midst of trying to answer the simple, yet impossible riddle, the mysterious bald man seems to know everything about Kevin's life, which up to the present moment, has been gratuitously wasted.
As Kevin is confronted with these failures, a secret from his past is revealed to be the true reason behind his imprisonment and torture.
Will Kevin acknowledge his undesirable past? Though more importantly, will Kevin answer the riddle in time to avoid a horror filled death?
***NOTE: Real mambas will NOT be used, so there will be no threat to the production team. We will either use NON-VENOMOUS black snakes, or CGI.***
