The Resistance Project

WHAT: My name is MIIKE, i'm a hip-hop artist that resides in Denver. I've been writing and recording music for three years. The project I'm working on is a 5 song EP called The Resistance. Instead of shooting five different music videos for this, I want to shoot one "movie" that all fit together.

WHY: There is an idea here, and what I want to convey is that culture and music need to be pushed in the direction where thinking different is always an option. The music that is popular now is about mindless behaviorr and it spreads like wildfire because it's cool and so and so artist said it was. I want to bring back the art of story telling in a positive light. The youth is the futute, I want to keep reminding them that our thoughts of change are no longer an option, but a resolution. This is the RESISTANCE!

YOUR HELP: I'm still growing as an artist and as a person; music has changed my life and the way I think in a great way. I need to raise 3,000 dollars because I am still an independant artist. I want to make a postive change to anyone that will listen and I am excited to see who shares my views.
