The Record Museum campaign

自［唱片博物館］成立已來已經招待了一百多個國家的訪客,分享我們的藏品和獨有音樂理論知識。［香港旅法局］亦非常認同我們對社會的貢獻。 本人亦曾獲香港演藝學院和中國西安音樂學院邀請開辦［音樂DNA理論］講座。

是次衆籌的目的 - ［母帶］和世界各地珍貴古董播放器材的保育和展覽。

自本人初次接觸唱片和錄音帶已有五十一年光景， 喜歡分享優質音樂寶藏已經是我多年來的習慣，這亦是我創辦［唱片博物館］的目的和初心。直至目前為止本館已拯救了七佰多條濒臨失傳的珍貴［母帶］音源，包括全套四十多卷The Beatles的一級母帶， 相信這是世界上大多數 The Beatles樂迷都沒有機會聽到的［聲音］ ， 這亦是什麼才是The Beatles想樂迷聽到的［聲音］。而有幸前來［唱片博物館］鑑賞的樂迷都能感受到什麼才是真正的原創音樂藝術的最高境界！但單靠我個人的力量是不夠的， 所以是次衆籌的款項，將用作收購大量［母帶］和其他珍貴錄音製作例如［母盤］、開盤式錄音帶、絕版黑膠唱片等等。試想有一天人類才猛然發現發現The Beatles 的名曲Yesterday 原創已經完全消失得無影無踪了，你所聽到的都其實只有［母帶］的一两成，那是多麽的可惜啊！ 情况就好像失去了［蒙娜麗莎］真跡一樣，那是人類音樂藝術的浩劫。

如果我們不拯救它, 沒有人（包括擁有者）會介意它是真與假只要能買能賣！！！

Since the establishment of the Record Museum ,we have entertained visitors from over 100 countries around the world with the approval by the Hong Kong Tourism Board. We have been invited to give lectures at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the Xian Conservatory of Music.

The purpose of this fund raising - acquisitions and preservation of precious Master Tapes recordings and collectible audio antiques for our exhibition.

It's been 51 years since I first approached vinyls and cassette tapes , and it has become my habit to share beautiful music treasures of high quality sound. This is also the purpose and intention of establishing the Record Museum. Up to now, the Record Museum has rescued over 700 first graded original master tapes, including a full set of over 40 reels of the Beatles genuine Master Tapes. I believe this is something that most of the world's Beatles music lovers that have never had a chance to listen to. And that was what exactly the Beatles wanted you to hear. And only the lucky ones who has visited our Record Museum have the opportunity to experience to the power of the true creation by the Beatles. But only rely on my own strength is not enough to archive the goal to rescue thousands of the lost Master Tapes , acetates ,open reels and discontinued valuable vinyls. Imagine one day we wake up and found that the authentic creation of the Beatles Yesterday was gone forever without a trace, what you hear is only 10-20% of the original creation! The situation is like losing the genuine Mona Lisa by Da Vinci , this is a catastrophe of our music heritage.

If we don't rescue them, no one(including the owners)will cares it's genuine or fake as long as the sales can go on!!!

Any donations of $1000 or more will receive a Japanese 1st edition LP or CD as souvenir.

My life mission : Preservation of genuine master tape sound quality(the mona Lisa of music). Sharing and inspiring music lovers around the world , educating young generation with my music DNA Master Class ,sustaining our valuable musical heritage.
