Help us raise money to hold a Reality Store on July 24th for the YWCA program "yWORLD" held at Peck Elementary to teach financial education to middle school students providing them with the skills to avoid bad financial decisions as young adults.
The Reality Store is comprised of 17 booths where each participant will take one month's salary from their chosen career and pay for housing, utilities, groceries, child care, cell phone bills, transportation, insurance, and more as they make their way through the course without going bankrupt.
This course has been so successful that students after completing the program have been known to say things like: "Now I understand why my parents can't give me everything I ask for!"
The Reality Store for yWORLD at Peck Elementary is sponsored in part by Business Cents with Shift of the Nussbaum Center providing the volunteers to man each booth.
The Triple Win Project is provided locally by Bulldog Printing who is processsing donations for this event.
