The Princess & the 4×4

Hi, thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I am looking to raise the required funds to enable me to buy a 4x4 Trek Power Chair. I have M.E (Myalgic Encephalomylitis) and my mobility is severely restricted by this.  I've had M.E for 7 years now and I've decided that it is time to get my independence back. I've gone from being a fit, active, healthy woman biker that was full of life to a woman that can't even go shopping on her own, please help me change this.  I want to be able to walk in the beautiful English countryside with my dogs without worrying about restrictions, I want to be able to explore the Great British landscape, I want to be able to go in to town and look around the shops without help, I want to be normal again and have a better quality of life. I can only do this with your help.  These power chairs are not cheap, hence why I need some help. This is no ordinary chair, it is capable of going over rough terrain, sand, pebbles, snow and can even go up and down steps. I have had the pleasure of test driving this chair at my local beach, it was fantastic, I felt so free.  Please feel free to donate as little or as much as you would like. The top picture is the type of chair I would like to buy.  If everybody that visits my page donated just £1, the target would soon be reached so I would be so grateful for your help and support. Any money donated above the target will be donated to the Action for ME charity for their continuing research into this debilitating and often misunderstood disease.
