Campaign Story
The purpose of this campaign is to support the creation, publishing and promotion of Franka Wright's brand new autobiography "The Other Side of the Wall: My Life With Pink Floyd".
Franka Wright was the second wife of the late Richard Wright (1943-2008), founding member and keyboard player of Pink Floyd. They were married with each other between 1984 and 1994. Both David Gilmour and Nick Mason (guitarist and drummer for Pink Floyd, respectively) gave huge credit to Franka for the band's reunion between 1986 and 1994.
"The Other Side of the Wall: My Life With Pink Floyd" will be Franka's autobiographical story from her birth and it will include her personal struggles, her life before and after Pink Floyd and her ongoing difficult journey since Wright's death in 2008.
If you choose to support this cause, you will have directly helped with the creation of a book that will reveal both the exciting and bitter parts from "the other side of the Wall" as well as the personal story of a woman that has practically seen it all and now will share it all...

People... we all love the music of PF, and we've all read biographies regarding other members of PF. It's time to read a biography about Richard Wright written by Franka Wright- the liason who brought the disillusioned members of PF back together, who subsequently provided their best laser-lit musical productions this side of the galaxy. I feel a small donation of at least 1 Euro is well worth the PF and Richard Wright experiences that Franka Wright shall provide us with through her memoirs and writing.
