The Open Doors Project

At the Open Doors Project we deliver outdoor activity sessions to children and young people with learning disabilities or additional needs. We address the issue of lack of provision for disabled or vulnerable children by providing free-of-charge activities including nature rambles, gardening, sensory exploration, den building, pond dipping, and engagement with wildlife. We want to ensure these children and young people can experience a wide range of outdoor opportunities, and aim to allow them to develop crucial social, communication, and behaviour management skills.

Your donation will go towards supporting our sessions and running costs, allowing us to continue delivering projects to young people in Birmingham and Merseyside.
