The ocean took their hut.

The rising oceans are becoming a problem in Philippines. Domer and Divine and their two boys urgently needs a house. Through the local government they have been given the title of a small (dry) lot where they can build a house of cementblocks.

The local government will also provide electricity and water connection, but only for a limited period. There need to be a structure to connect it to first. This gives them a deadline for finishing the house.

I am a European constructer, married in the Philippines. I know these people very well, and help them all I can, also financially. I guarantee that I will help them through the entire process. They are working minimum wage jobs, and will not be able to save enough to build a house within any foreseeable future.
