The New York Campaign

Hello. I am a matric student at Greenside High School and I am raising funds to pursue my dreams of becoming an actress and more at the New York Film Academy. I had been interested in the arts ever since Primary school from being apart of multiple talent shows and the choir for four years in a row. In high school I was apart of entering in multiple plays that were apart of festivals such as EADS, FEDA and GRADS for three years in a row and even directing in my very own play in my matric year. I joined debating for two years and choir in its first year of establishment and became the chairman of the choir. I was the Head of Culture 2018/2019 and left a legacy at my school, with my name on the board of the school in gold due to my love for performing arts.

Everything has worked out better than I could ever imagine, from my auditions in May and getting accepted a few weeks later with a talent based discount but the money isn’t enough to even pay for half of the money we need and I am hoping that beginning this will guarantee me the chance to go to New York as the only standing in the way of my dreams are the funds needed.
