The Mushindo Mind

I need your help to complete my book called The Mushindo Mind. The word Mushindo derives from the word Mushin, a Samurai term meaning “No-Mind” and the “DO” meaning “The Way” So Mushindo is The Way of No Mind. Mushin is achieved when a person's mind is free from thoughts of anger, fear, doubt, disbelief or ego based thinking during combat and everyday living.

Through the course of our lives we have adopted certain limiting belief systems that pulled us away from our oneness with the infinite universe. We have learned to put limitations on our dreams hopes and desires and replaced them with so-called realistic thinking. The Mushindo Mind is based on Martial arts philosophy, alchemic thinking and law of attraction principles to ignite the warrior within.

From the stories and lessons in my book, readers will discover how they are connected to the infinite power of the universe to manifest what they most desire. They will find it easy to experience this in the midst of unlearning your false self and discovering your true self in line with the universe.

I believe that we all have the potential to create the lives we truly want. However, it is not enough to just want a better life. You must go after it with a warrior-like confidence that will give no thought to fear doubt or disbelief of its fulfillment.  

I have been in the martial arts form 1995 I started teaching the martial arts in 2005 and have been in the new thought movement since 2006. I have had over 45 martial arts students.

WHAT QUALIFIES ME TO WRITE SUCH A BOOK?

Between the ages of 17 and 23 I was homeless. I slept in the transit system during the winter to find warmth and in cardboard boxes anywhere he could during the summer. I made whatever little bit of money I could make taking out the garbage for restaurants. Then one day a vision of me teaching kept me awake all night. I got up and made a decision to better myself and make that vision a reality. I saved my money and purchased some second hand barber tools. I began working at a barbershop in Harlem then later on moving to Castle Hill in the Bronx. Still searching for a way to make my vision a reality, I discovered what was to be a major turning point in his life.

In the year 1997 I was very fortunate to have met and trained under Shihan Joseph Torres a 10th Dan Grand Master in Katsugo Ryu Aiki-Jujitsu. It was their under the guidance of Shihan Torres I had a better understanding of his purpose. In the years 1997 through 2003, I aggressively studied the mind of true Martial artist. I studied books from Miyamoto Musashi, Bruce Lee, Morihei Ueshiba, Sun Tzu and many other great Masters of the Martial Way to gain my knowledge.

In 2006 I opened The Mushindo Samurai Academy. In that same year one of my students gave him a book called “THE SECRET” and this book literally changed my life. It was at that time the culmination of my vision and everything I went through from being homeless to a martial artist and teacher was revealed. From that time I have mentored over 500 students, both within and outside of the martial arts community. My program creates a paradigm shift away from the belief of fear, doubt and disbelief, and instead, embraces the understanding that we all live in a world of infinite possibility.

The book “The Mushindo Mind” is a culmination of what happens when you make a decision to follow your vision.

WHY GO GET FUNDING?

Each project I seen on this site gave me the inspiration to do this book. I seen brilliant works of art, great literary pieces, fantastic movie ideas and after seeing so many brilliant people and creations I knew I had to write this book and I knew I had to make GGF a part of it. I believe in the GGF a community.

WHAT IS THIS CAMPAIGN FOR?

To cover the cost of editing, printing, and distributing The Mushindo Mind through major retailers around the country.

To raise money for a national book tour and publicity campaign, so I can do the leg-work needed to get The Mushindo Mind concept into the headlines and the collective Martial arts, New thought and self empowerment communities.

To speak up for the millions of people who feel that they have no way out of their unwanted situations

To honor and remember the men and women who paved the way for us to be able to create our own destiny.

The one-energy aspect of The Mushindo Mind is having no concept of fear, doubt or disbelief. In those terms, we can learn about our infinite capabilities for courage, power, love, and how to live in the awareness of having infinite potentiality. We also learn that we can overcome many obstacles which may stand before us and about our ability to bring something great to humanity.
