The Maja Initiative
Estonia's rapid economic development has created both great wealth and significant blind spots: orphans and marginalized children in particular. The Maja Initiative is an organization created to raise social consciousness through activities which engage a cross-section of society and raise funds to provide for orphans.
This is a critical seed capital funding effort for a very specific cause, within the larger context of the Maja Initiative. In short, we are in the process of incorporating the Maja Initiative Non-Profit Organization, but winter in Estonia doesn't work on a bureaucratic timetable. 90 orphans need proper bedding for the winter right now (pillows, sheets, duvets). We need to raise the money for this basic need. Any excess capital will go into the next project on the agenda 100%.
