The Lapnawans: On the Road to Healing and Recovery
Hi everyone! I am raising funds to help my relatives, Uncle Jimmy, Aunt Virginia and their son, Jason.
Their Story:
A few days after Hurricane Irma strucked down the state of Florida, electrical power went off. Traffic and street lights were dead that left parts of the city in darkness. On the late night of September 12, 2017, after picking up Jason from the airport, they had a vehicular accident on their way home. Their vehicle collided with another car in an intersection.
The accident left everyone heavily injured with my Aunt Virginia in critical condition. She suffered a lot of bleeding and had to go through abdominal surgeries. Doctors have to remove parts of her intestine to place a colostomy and place a rod on her left leg. She is now stable but still under a ventilator.
Uncle Jimmy had an abdominal surgery as well while Jason broke his leg and one of his bones in the neck. It's a good thing that doctors were able to fix that. Father and son were able to go home now but needed a lot of rest to recuperate well.
Having known their present condition, it is evident that it will take quite some time for everyone to recover, physically and financially. Being unable for them to work at the moment and with the rising cost of hospital and medical expenses, these moved me to start this cause. Their current insurance cannot cover them all. What makes it more difficult is that they have no other relatives within the state. This our way of extending them some help even if we live miles apart.
I am asking for your generous hearts to please feel free to contribute or donate any amount for them. This will greatly help them, at least for the time that they are unable to work for themselves. Above all, your prayers will also help the family a lot.
Thank you in advance and I believe that life will always find its way to repay you.
