The Koalas Need Your Help!

As I'm sure you've all heard, the BBC has reported a staggering loss of the Koala population- the number is suspected to be higher than the 1/3 reported in the news.

As per the Telegraph UK, "At least 25,000 koalas are believed to have died in a horrific wildfire in South Australia that may have devastating consequences for the survival of the species."

“We will have taken many species that weren’t threatened close to extinction, if not to extinction,” said Kingsley Dixon, an ecologist and botanist at Curtin University, in Perth.

All donations will be given to the World Wildlife Fund as well as the Australian Koala Foundation (AKF) to aid their treatment and care of the koalas who have survived the bushfires.
