The Journey of a 1,000 Miles Begins with 1 step

My name is Tadiwanashe (or Joshua as others know me) Chadoka and I am an aspiring Pilot in training at a Flight School in Johannesburg, South Africa. Flying has always been my dream for as long as I can remember, and my training actually started in 2009 when I started studying Aviation Engineering at Leeds University in United Kingdom, but due to financial challenges I had to give up my dream. Just when I thought all hope was lost, I got the opportunity to join a Flight school in December 2015, and I grabbed it with both hands!

I cannot explain the joy I felt when I had my first introductory flight..nor my first solo flight when I single-handedly took off an aircraft, flew it, then landed in one piece! I have since flown on many trips - short and long. In fact, I acquired my Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and Night Rating last year (2016) and the caption in one of my pictures show me reaching this milestone by being decorated by one of the Flight School’s excellent Instructors. Since then I have been working towards my Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and building my flying hours and guess what, I’m almost there. Only now my dream seems so far again due to financial constraints towards the time I am supposed to finish training, and this is where you come in. I am kindly asking you to donate as much as your generosity can stretch to stop a dream from failing once again.
