Dear Friends,

On the 31st of January, I will be joining a team from Now Believe (www.nowbelieve.com - an incredible ministry focused on the presence of Jesus and the preaching of the gospel) on a missions trip to India. I've been involved in their ministry for just under three years, during 2015 I worked alongside the Core Team as the Gospel Event Co-ordinator: which meant I was able to organise and participate in nationwide outreaches! This page will serve to provide you with some details of the India Trip, and an opportunity to help give towards the trip. If you recognise any content from last years fundraiser, it's still on my heart!

What's the deal?

This will be a two-week trip to the south-east of the country. Over a period of years, Nowbelieve has been holding missions to the same area and developing strong relationships with a local Indian church-planting ministry. We'll be partnering with this ministry to hold nightly evangelistic open-air campaigns to gatherings of 100-1000. There will be lots of healing, deliverance, testimony-sharing and gospel-preaching and the opportunity to get involved in it all! The missions leader, Dom, is a good friend of mine, and a great man of God. I'm confident in his leadership, having been involved in doing outreaches with Now Believe for nearly three years. I'm also confident in the relationship we have with the local Indian ministry, and there is a great sense of excitement with all involved. This action-packed trip will be intense in many ways as we travel around the state ministering, attending conferences, schools and hitting the streets, but we will end the mission in rest with a short debrief at a local resort.

Why?

As you may know, I'm passionate in my expression of love for God. I love preaching and seeing people saved, healed and delivered. I feel a strong calling as an evangelist, so this mission is hugely exciting and important to me. This trip will result in thousands of lives changed forever, touched by the Lord.

In 2014, I co-ordinated prayer efforts for the Nowbelieve team that were travelling there, and I relayed testimonies from them back to their friends and family. I was stunned to hear testimonies of hundreds saved and making Jesus their Lord, blind eyes opening, the lame walking, tumours disappearing and people being delivered. Due to the partnership with the local church-planters - hundreds were connected to local churches.

In 2015 I was able to join the India team, and this was a massive joy. We saw hundreds healed, saved and delivered. There were some very special moments during that outreach. Here's something I wrote from our final open-air meeting at an Indian Village, after we preached next to a Hindu Temple.

"A woman was healed of deafness (had been completely deaf for 3 months) and 50% blindness (she had been suffering from this for a year). She joyfully gave her testimony to the crowd waiting for prayer." James

I'm sure this trip will involve more of the same healings and incredible expressions of God's compassionate power. But most importantly, this trip will introduce people to the Living God, Jesus Christ.

How?

Having felt peace and an abiding sense of God's commission to go, I'm believing in faith that the funds will come in for this trip. I've been working as an English teacher/tutor full time since the beginning of this year, so financially I'm in a better position than I have been previously - upon preparing for an international mission. However, any funds I save have been going towards my upcoming wedding in May. That is to say, I need the support of people who are willing to give towards global mission. I'd like to ask you to prayerfully consider giving towards the cost of this mission. I would be hugely blessed by the opportunity to proclaim the gospel. More importantly, your generosity will give thousands the opportunity to experience that transforming, beautiful power of the grace of God! As you consider this request, I'd like to encourage you to keep Paul's exhortation in mind:

"Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed." - 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

I will need to raise £1475 for this trip. This will cover: accommodation, food, flights, transportation, and the cost of the visa application. I'd like to offer you a fantastic opportunity to give and to partner with me in the Lord's work. Let's put our hands to the plow together, for the glory of God and for Jesus' full reward.
