The Jewish Reparations Fund

In the year 69 C.E on the 9th of the Hebrew month of Av, Roman Legions led by Titus destroyed the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, destroyed the Jewish commonwealth, and exiled the people.

Since that day of infamy, both Christian and Muslim countries persecuted Jewish people through:

• Exiles
• Ghettos
• Second class citizenship
• Forced distinctive clothing
• Severe economic restrictions
• Endless Pogroms
• Holocaust
• and more...

From Yemen to Austria, there was no country in which Jews were immune from persecution.

From sunset Wednesday July 29th through sunset Thursday, 30 July, the Jewish People will mark the 1,951st anniversary of the Temple's destruction and Jerusalem's fall with the traditional 24 hour fast and mourning rites.

We invite both Muslims and Christians (and their decedents) to contribute to the Jewish Reparations Fund to send a message that the Jewish pain of nearly 2,000 years matters.
