Campaign Story
After several attempts of working with non-profit organizations to help us start a crowdfunding account we have been denied due to pending charges. The video that is associated with this funding was viewed by 48K Facebook users and caused an awareness in several movements such as Black Live Matter, Let Your Voice BE Heard, Black Orlando United, 100 Black Men, NAACP, and Sojourners Truth-Tellers. It is not in our character to ask for handouts and/or bailouts but in trying circumstances such as these we believe it is in our best interest to seek aid from our fellow loved ones.
On February, 24 2017 we were approached by a very aggressive police officer which resulted in the arrest of my wife and myself. Our rights were violated and it left us to suffer a toll of attorney fees on top of the medical expenses we have to accommodate due to my wife's pregnancy.
