The Invincibles MS Support Group

Objective:

I am raising money for a small Multiple Sclerosis support group, who call themselves "The Invincibles".  They are located in Fredericksburg, VA and the support group organizes once a month to provide MS awareness in the community.

Background:

Many of the MS patients are only aware of what is told to them by their neurologist and are isolated by their own experiences and symptoms of living with MS.  After attending several meetings, I realized many of the patients have a large variety of experiences and symptoms and it helps each patient tremendously to know how other MS patients cope with their symptoms of MS and what their current experiences are/were with using different MS treatments.

Funding:

I would like to increase their activity in the communtity by creating a website and pamphlets to help spread the word about their group.  The money will also be used to help the group directly with some of their expenses such as travel, walking aids, etc.  I would also like to provide them with group activities that increase their awareness of MS.
