Help us feed impoverished families and the already vulnerable communities devastated by the Covid-19 pandemic by DONATING to our Food Hamper Project.

There is a virus that has always been around called HUNGER...and the vaccine is available. It's called FOOD!

As a public figure I have initiated and manage this initiative with support from generous individuals and volunteers. The hampers are more essential now and we need your support. We have identified a minimum of 1500 destitute families on the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal, that require monthly food hampers URGENTLY!

Many go to bed everynight wondering where their next meal will come from. Most do not have electricity while some of them live in informal dwellings or settlements which leaks when it rains. They have no incomes having lost their jobs or means to get day to day work. Other families are barely surviving with no warm clothing, blankets or basic items. Recently a family lost their humble home in a massive fire and now relies on public assistance to aid their very survival.

  • We are accepting online donations and non-perishable food items.
  • It normally costs up to R650 per box by providers and will FEED A FAMILY FOR A MONTH. Smaller hampers range from R218 onwards.
  • Our organisation will volunteer and/or bear the costs of the administration, delivery, purchasing, replenishing and collection.

The hamper will contain basic non-perishable items such as:

bulk rice, bulk samp, kidney or broad beans, bulk cake flour, sugar &/or sweeteners, lentils, salt, spices, canned fish & beans, boxed milk, breakfast cereals or instant porridge, pasta, teabags, coffee, peanut butter, jam, cooking oil, juice to dilute, boxed milk, washing soap bar, bath soap, candles & matches, toilet tissue paper and where available a vegetable pack (butternut, potatoes, onions, tomatoes).

This will be a continuous monthly project. We will follow up with smaller hampers once the pandemic subsides. We humbly appeal to you, people of the globe, for your generous donations to service this worthwhile cause in inpoverished communities in these areas that live below the breadline.

We thank you for your support and send love and prayers to everyone. May we come together and assist where we can; as we pray for the world to heal!
