THE HUB OF CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS

In a democratic society, civil society organizations are an important element for positive change

The Social Teahouse in Varna has existed for 6 years and is an example of a successful and developing social enterprise. We give protected job to boys and girls who have grown up without parents in social institutions.

We need the support of all NGOs and civic activists to implement the project "THE HUB OF CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS" in the city of Varna.

The problem

Civil society organizations often do not have enough resources to afford private office, even less in a central and communicative place in Varna;

Very few NGOs can afford an accountant or a lawyer to be on line in the event of day-to-day cases.

Another problem for start-up NGOs is building trust in donors, partners, institutions and the community as a whole and the availability of administrative capacity and organizational culture.

The solution

Within the project The Social Teahouse will become a shared space for work and cooperation between active people and organizations where they will know that they can meet others like them, find support from already developed and working social enterprises.

We will organize trainings and consultations related to the specific requirements for NGOs, concerning legal and administrative issues, skills for survival in crisis and fast reformatting of the business model, etc.

Our goal is to build a strong organizational culture and organizations that are legitimate, transparent and lawful. More understanding in the community regarding the civil sector. Because there can be countless good ideas, dreamers and visionaries, but if they are not supported by the right set of tools and expertise, their ideas remain just ideas.
