The Honeymoon We Never Had

Hi....we got married in 2007. We had a wedding in New Brunswick. We thought it would be great. It turned out to be the wedding from hell. First I almost puked because I am scared to death on planes and I swore I would never get back one. Then I got my hair and makeup done alone,my maid of honor got lost while sight seeing. I returned looking like a clown. I spent an hour trying to fix my hair and scrub the pound of makeup off. The officiant was rushing us because she didnt want to miss the fairy due to a dinner date she had planned. This created a five minute ceremony  after walking down an isle runner that ripped and tripped a flower girl My husband had to get married without a shower or shaving because he was busy setting up everything from chairs to flowers with the help of nobody. Than its time for the rings, we used a ring from a key chain because the best man forgot he should have the actual ring. Ceremony was put on hold while my mother in law tore apart my bedroom looking for the room...which I had to clean up that night , thank you Sue. Finally  its time for dinner...oh wait. The cook didnt show up. Even though this was planned for over 2 months. My dads brother whom he didnt see in years had to leave because of the fairy didnt even get to stay to eat due to having to wait over an hour for the cook to show up. This led to eating soggy lobster rolls and getting lost in the woods looking for fast food that night because we were hungry still. Now the night of the wedding, the romatic evening...NOT!!  My husband had to get up at 6 am to catch a plane with my father because I refused to get back on. I spent my honeymoom driving around New Brunswick and gettting lost with my mother. It is now 2014 and we have not even had a vacation. We want to go somewhere in Canada without a plane. I would love to drive down East again and do it right. Please help us get there. Sad thing is I broke this down, I did not even mention the diabetic who could not find food on the island or the car crash my father had in our dumpy motel parking lot. And best of yet the story how I spent my night before the wedding in the same room with my soon to be husband and his brother. This happens when someone just shows up out of the blue and has no place to stay. So I won't even get started on the bags my eyes had because 2 hours sleep is no good for anyone. Those boys can snore. I want a vacation with my husband. He is a truck driver, I rarely see him. Help us please (-:
