The Heart You Save is The Life We Live

My mother was first diagnosed with ACS (Acute Coronary Syndrome) and been confined in a hospital for a couple of days.

2 nights in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and the rest in a normal room.

Her doctor required her to have a series of test which includes Blood Chem, ECG and 2D Eco.

Just when my mom started feeling better and soon will be discharged, she suddenly felt that there seems to be a heavy thing in her chest.

Then her Doctor talked to us and he told us that our mom needs to transfer to a different hospital where there is available equipment so she can undergo an Andiogram which might cost around $1000 - $2000 (this amount is for Andiogram itself).

We brought my mom in Manila (Philippine Heart Center). She undergoes Angiography and the result shows that there was no blockage in the veins of her heart. But instead, her heart muscles withheld the veins in her heart whenever her Blood Pressure shoots up which causes her to feel the heaviness in her chest. And with that findings, my mom will need to take a lifetime maintenance (medicines) for her heart.

This result is really far from the first result that the 1st doctor told us in the province. We are just glad that we brought my mom in Manila.

We all know that when it comes to the heart, medicine needed costs a lot than the normal medicines we use for other diseases, that is why we are seeking for help.
