The Great Run Canada: Community and Outdoor Adventure on the Great Trail

We are The Great Run Canada and are embarking on an adventure to run the entire Great Trail system in PEI while connecting to the geography and culture that falls along it. The goal: to showcase the trail system, the importance of being active outdoors, and the amazing communities Canada has that a lot of people don't get to see. Our fundraising campaign will allow us to invest in a few minor pieces of training gear we need to get us through the winter and ready to run 50+ kilometers a week for 9 weeks. It will also help us get our little GMC Safari van tuned up and ready to hit the road! Once we do hit the road, the funds will be used for food, accommodations, and other training supplies we need en route. We hope to make this a huge celebration of outdoor living and community and to share this with the rest of Canada and the world through social media, webcasts and, at the end of it all, a documentary.
